Ten Years From Now

Seven months ago, I could not answer the question how I wanted to live my life ten years from now. I could only utter, "I do not know," and just had a vague idea that I didn't want to be working. Back then, I did not have the confidence to face myself and show "me" to others.

now I answer that question. Ten years from now, i want to:
  • have a happy family, a family I'll take care of and love
  • be attending full time to my children
  • have a stable source of decent income
  • teach; and
  • probably still pushing/advocating a noble cause
Some, in their ordinary meanings, may be in conflict with the other. Let me just say then that "full time" is a relative term.

Here I illustrate:

I need my MA to enable me to teach.

I need to establish my expertise (most likely property rights) to continually push for the noble cause (hey, I need to grow) by doing research/paper.

It would help to have my specialization to allow me to teach with depth.

Then again, MA would really strengthen me in that area.

From teaching, I can earn some income for my family.

But really, I do hope to get some good investment from which I can support my family without requiring me to work nine to five.

So how do I invest? Where do I get my capital? How do I earn that?

On MA, how or where can I get the money I need to finish it (tuition, books, allowance, miscellaneous)?

On research, do I need funding? Where? How? What?

That's my simplified "plan," but with a number of questions unanswered, the answers of which affects me NOW. At least I already have an answer on that ten-year question.

Good luck!
